Jay Deeds |
| Jason (Jay)
Deeds has practiced law in Tuscarawas County for 18 years.
Jay was a partner in the firm Hanhart, Deeds & Bauer, which merged
with Black, McCuskey in 1999. Jay is a member of the firm’s
Business, Estates & Trusts, Labor & Employment, Health Care, Real
Estate and Construction Practice Groups.
He devotes a substantial portion of his practice to Business,
Estate Planning, Real Property, Construction and Litigation matters.
Prior to attending Ohio Northern University’s College of Law, Jay
earned a Bachelors degree from Denison University where he was
active in a fraternity, sports, student judicial counsel and a
variety of other organizations. Jay is a member of the Tuscarawas
County, Ohio State and American Bar Associations.
Active in the Tuscarawas County community, Jay has served on the
board of directors of the United Way, Tuscarawas County YMCA,
Tuscarawas Philharmonic and Dover Rotary Club. He is past president
of the Dover Rotary Club. Jay was the United Way Campaign Chairman
in 1991 and served as board president in 1992. Currently, he is a
Trustee for the Tuscarawas County YMCA, Dover Schools Education
Foundation and for Union Hospital. Jay is also active with the Ohio
Foundation of Independent Colleges.
Jay is a 1981 Dover High School graduate, and he and his wife,
Erin, have five children. |

Jeanine Kennedy |
| An Art Teacher
at Dover City Schools from 1973 to 2003, Jeanine is also the
Executive Director of the Tuscarawas County Center for the Arts from
2003 until present. She is an active member of St. Joseph
parish, sits on the Dover Board of Education from 2004 until present
and is an Adjunct Faculty at Kent State Tuscarawas from 2001 until
present. |

Jim Nixon |
| Jim graduated
Dover High School in 1994 and attended Case Western Reserve
University in Cleveland Ohio. He graduated in 1998 with a bachelor
degree in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Economics. In 1999 he
returned to the area after accepting a position with Lauren
Manufacturing. In 2001 Jim was promoted to the position of General
Manager at LMI Custom Mixing, Lauren International’s custom rubber
mixing facility in Cambridge, OH. In 2003 he completed his MBA at
Ashland University. Today Jim lives in (is a proud resident of)
Dover with his wife Melanie, and their three sons, Trent, Tommy, and
Ryan.

Ryan Wallick |
Ryan Wallick is a 1992
graduate of Dover High School. Following high school, Ryan,
attended Ohio University in Athens, OH graduating in 1996 with a
Bachelor of Business Administration Degree Majoring in Accounting.
From 1996 to 1998 Ryan worked in the Corporate Offices for Bank
One in Columbus, OH. In 1998 Ryan joined Don R. Wallick Auctions
in association with Pissocra Mathias Realty. Since that time Ryan
has been involved in real estate transactions in the capacity of
auctioneer, realtor, buyer & seller. In 2007 Ryan
became a licensed real
estate broker for the State of Ohio. In addition to the Dover City
Schools Education Foundation, Inc., Ryan is a member of the
Corporate Board of Directors for AAA, Dover Elks, and Strasburg
Masonic Lodge. He also does charity work for Hospice of Tuscarawas
County, McDonald's Charities, many local organizations & high
school booster clubs. Ryan resides in Dover with his wife Anne,
and children Teddy & Ellie.

Jim Contini |
|
Jim is a director of Krugliak,
Wilkins, Griffiths & Dougherty Co., L.P.A., and currently serves as
a member of the firm’s management committee. His focus is primarily
in estate planning, business succession planning, probate, estate
and trust administration, elder law, business law, and real estate
law.
Jim, a native of Dover, Ohio,
received his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the
University of Akron where he was voted Outstanding Senior and Top
Senior in Accounting in 1989. He earned his Juris Doctorate from
Case Western Reserve University School of Law graduating cum
laude and being awarded the Law Clinic Banks Baldwin Award.
Jim is a
frequent speaker on various estate, elder, and business planning
matters, is a certified specialist in estate planning, trust and
probate law by the Ohio State Bar Association, and a member of the
National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He is a member of the Stark
County Bar Association, where he serves on the Estate Planning and
Probate, Elder Law, Corporate Law, Bar Applicant and Scholarship
Committees. He is also a member of the Tuscarawas County Bar
Association and the Ohio State Bar Association. Jim has been named
an Ohio Rising Star for 2005 and also for 2006 by Cincinnati
Magazine Ohio SuperLawyers – Rising Stars Edition ® and
superlawyers.com.
Jim is active in many community
activities. He is a Dover youth baseball coach, and serves as a
board member for the Dover Baseball Leagues. Jim also serves on the
Board of Trustees for the Tuscarawas County Senior Center, and the
Tuscarawas County Small Business Advisory Council. Jim was a YMCA
youth sports volunteer coach, and is the game public address
announcer for the Dover Tornados Football Team, and high school
football color analyst for WJER Radio. Jim is a member of St.
Joseph Catholic Church in Dover, the Dover Knights of Columbus, and
Union Country Club in Dover. Jim has been appointed by the Mayor of
Dover to serve on the City of Dover Parks and Recreation Committee
and has been appointed to the Dover City Schools Foundation.
Jim has previously served as
president and board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tuscarawas
County, and is a former president and board member of the Dover
Rotary Club, is a past member of the Stark County United Way
Allocations Committee, and the Tuscarawas County Senior Center
Building Campaign. He is also a former board member of the
Tuscarawas County Chapter of the American Red Cross, the Tuscarawas
Central Catholic High School Foundation and Alumni Association, the
Holy Trinity Budget Committee, and the Stark County Golf Charities
Committee.
Jim, his wife, Abby, and their
children, Cory and Chloe, reside in Dover. |
